One Happy Hooker

It is the middle of the week and my second day off work in a row. I’m loving this morning. Preschooler/toddler giggles as they run through the house chasing each other with rubber snakes from our zoo trip yesterday. Coffee is hot and soothing, sun is shining and Nana has a crochet project underway that will be worked on most of today once I get a shower.

waffleblanketI love the colors of this blanket and have always loved the waffle stitch pattern so this is a perfect new addition to my shop which will reopen from vacation mode in about a week or so, as soon as this pretty item is ready to sell. I have several things that I need to photograph then add to the listings as well. Today is perfect with the sun in the trees of the woods behind the deck. I’ll take the rocking chair out and do that later today. Maybe.

This day is all about relaxing. I will write a wine & cheese edition later today maybe. Or I might just wait until next Wednesday, depending on how I feel later. The lack of pressure to meet a deadline is being relished at the moment. 🙂

His story is inspiring and his creations are beyond amazing. What an incredible young man he is, and buying the book supports him and his charitable efforts through his crocheted products. I will take a break to page through this when it arrives.

Nothing is going to be accomplished if I do not get in the shower, so off I go to get this day started. Have a marvelous, blessed day everyone!
