Wine & Cheese 2019 ~ 6th Serving

wineandcheese2I used to devote my Wednesday blog post to whining and then time and life got in the way. But for 2019 I’m back to a regular serving of Wine & Cheese!

Despite being a really happy, positive person, I do have things that annoy me at times. I never let anything grate on my nerves for long but thought it would be fun to vent them periodically in my blogs. I also feel that good things, the cheese in life, should be acknowledged as well. I’m even going to throw in a bit of dessert, a piece of virtual chocolate, something that made me laugh or smile just a bit more than normal. If you’d like to read the past editions of Wine & Cheese just search past postings. Sit back and join me now for a serving of some whine and cheese!

 ~*~ ~*~ ~*~

It is been a rough few weeks. Been working a lot of extra hours and encountered several unplanned speed bumps on the road of life.

😦  Last Friday I was headed out to get my plates on my car transferred to my new state of Indiana. My car battery was dead. My daughter jumped it but we had to shut my car off to handle something else and the next time it wouldn’t take a jump. That ended the license plate run because the new battery ate up that cost.

😦  Pretty sure I can get a government clearance to enter the private side of the White House easier than I can get my drivers license and license plates in Indiana. Just saying you Hoosiers are ridiculous. My certified copy of my divorce decree shows the new married name, his last name. Why do I need a certified copy of the marriage license to prove why I added to my last name (kept my maiden name too)????? My social security card matches, and the birth certificate has the maiden name. So since the maiden name is hyphenated with the married name, clearly I am said person born under the one name. No one would add more to that lengthy and unique last name on purpose for kicks. #$%^&*!!!!!

😦  I hate pill bugs (rollie pollies). I have recently had a day where I killed 31 in an hour and a half before leaving for work. Then I have days where I don’t see a single one.

😦  I may have to ditch the Pokemon GO app. Seriously too tempting to spend real money to play a virtual game so that I can get incubators for eggs. This is not acceptable.

🙂  The overtime is making for a very sweet paycheck this week. And I need it!

🙂  I’m inching closer to my weight before mom died last year, thanks to clean keto eating.

🙂  Pill bugs aside, I am loving life here in the valley in the Nana suite. Chaos, noise, fun, laughter, birds chirping, woodpeckers pecking, lush woods…it is amazing. Even the severe thunderstorms aren’t so bad (other than with all the trees every lightening strike is too close and too loud). I don’t even hear them for the most part unless they get crazy intense.

🙂  My prayer binder and war room have been very helpful for me to get my prayer life back on track. SO thankful I took the steps to get that all in order! Not a moment too soon as the spiritual warfare needed for those close to me lately has been leveled up.
