Wine & Cheese ~ 4th Serving 2018

Some Wednesdays I devote a blog to whining. Despite being a really happy, positive person, I do have things that annoy me at times. I never let anything grate on my nerves for long but thought it would be fun to vent them periodically in my blogs. I also feel that good things, the cheese in life, should be acknowledged as well. I’m even going to throw in a bit of dessert, a piece of virtual chocolate, something that made me laugh or smile just a bit more than normal.  WINE WHINE

😦  This weather in these parts is getting old fast. Entirely too much rain and overcast skies. I love that it is only 71 degrees but I would rather have it hot and sunny.

😦  I forgot to cancel a subscription box and it billed. Not a big deal just didn’t want what is in the next one. It is now canceled!

😦  It’s back again…that phrase playing through my mind in the bathroom, this is where mom died. I HATE it!!! I think it is time for grief counseling.

😦  12 items on my to-do list today, only 5 checked off so far and it is 3pm UGH.

 

CHEESE

🙂  Appointment for grief counseling is scheduled. Meanwhile decided to start thinking, “this is where mom’s gate to heaven was” when I pass that ‘spot’.

🙂  Okay so there may be 7 to-do list items left, but hey, I marked off 5 of the 12 so that is almost half. At the end of this blog it will be 6, and then when I sit down to crochet later it will be 7. (silver lining lover here)

🙂  I’m down 3 pounds. I’ve gone back to healthy eating, though it is a struggle because I comfort ate in the past and fell back to those habits when mom died. My clients appreciate my transparency with my health journey, it helps them as well to realize we all have days when we make a choice that isn’t so healthy.  Thankfully I only have a few more to go before I’m back to my ideal weight.

🙂  Someone gave me 2, large shopping bags full of yarn!!! These colors are awesome and I cannot wait to make something out of all this wonderful yarn!
